Wine RoutesThe oldest wine district in South Africa and 25 minutes drive from the city/waterfront lies the Constantia Valley while a little further afield lies the Stellenbosch district with its charming Cape Dutch town of the same name. A delightfully slow-paced yet interesting few days can be spent in Stellenbosch, especially if you are an art lover, without once having to use a car.

Atlantic SeaboardThe trendy Atlantic coast of Cape Town overlooks some magnificent beaches and faces west toward the setting sun, setting the scene for lazy days beside the sea and memorable candle-lit dinners in one of its many restaurants. All the attractions are within walking distance of each other and 10 minutes by car from the city/cable way and 15 minutes from the waterfront.

Southern SuburbsJust over the mountain and only 20 minutes from the city/waterfront the leafy Southern Suburbs provide a relaxing time to unwind and enjoy hospitality for which the Cape is known and at reasonable rates. Very good quality guest houses and home-from-home B&B's abound, there's lots of shopping and good restaurants. Cape Town's major sports stadia are situated here.
